Welcome to the Sugaronline Academy, a new initiative to encourage the development of expertise and best practice in disciplines across the sugar supply chain.
We’re launching the Academy with Sugar Trading: Futures & Options, a suite of courses which cover all aspects of futures and options trading. These courses are delivered by Judith Ganes, who will teach you techniques and strategies that are based on over 40 years’ experience of trading and 20 years of her giving hands-on F&O courses around the world.
Who is it for?
The courses are suitable for anyone who has an interest in trading commodities on the futures markets, especially raw and white sugar. The courses have no pre-requisites, but if you are new to commodities trading you should start with the Beginner course.
At the end of the Advanced or Full course you will have the opportunity to take an exam for which, if you achieve a pass rate of at least 80%, you will receive an official certificate to mark your achievement.

Your academy tutor, Judith Ganes
Judith Ganes provides subscription-based research services to food and agricultural industries, acts as an advisor on commodity pricing, as well as conducts customized educational training courses and workshops worldwide on risk management principles and techniques through the value chain. Judy is a noted expert instructor on futures and options hedging.
Prior to starting her own consultancy in 2001, she spent nearly two decades on Wall Street working for major brokerage houses as a Senior Commodities Analyst for their many institutional and retail clients specializing in sugar, coffee, cocoa, cotton and orange juice.
