Our full Sugar Trading: Futures and Options course brings together all of the Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced courses and will take you on the full journey from novice to expert.
In addition to over eight and a half hours of video content, knowledge checks and a final exam you will also receive further mentoring from Judith Ganes for up to three months from the course completion – so you can get her expert advice on the practical application of the knowledge you’ve gained.

Sugar Trading:
Futures & Options - Beginner-
This course serves as a general introduction to sugar futures and options trading.
In it you will learn about futures markets and how they operate, understand the mechanics of futures trading, follow the steps of hedging and understanding risk profiles and learn how to identify and manage basis (differential) risk.
Duration: 2 hours and 45 minutes (plus knowledge checks)

Futures & Options – Intermediate-
Our Intermediate course expands on the subjects covered in our Beginners course, staring with an explanation of options on futures contracts, showing how to calculate values and various risk profiles for bulls and bears.
You will also learn about the influence of volatility and time on option positions. There is a deeper dive into risk management strategies comparing the use of put options to a traditional futures hedge. Finally, the course introduces synthetics or how to create positions using futures and options.

Sugar Trading:
Futures & Options – Advanced-
In the Advanced course of our Sugar Futures & Options series, you will learn about the Greeks and how they can help create more sophisticated strategies, including the influences of speed price changes, acceleration in market prices, time decay, and volatility on option premiums.
You’ll also learn how to recognise option strategies based on market views and select the proper strategy for current market conditions. In addition you will gain an understanding of the structure of advanced level strategies, including spread trades, collars, backspreads and ratio spreads with their risk profiles.
Duration: 3 hours and 10 minutes (plus knowledge checks and exam)
